A record €15,000 was raised for local charities at the recent Dunnamaggin Gymkhana.

The event was held at Goodwinsgarden, Kells, by kind permission of Larry and Kathryn Costello, and great crowds turned out as always. The gymkhana was run for the Kilkenny Carlow Homecare Team and St Joseph’s Home in Kilkmoganny.

The gymkhana committee would like to thank the very generous sponsors, as without their input, the event would not have been the success that it was. The committee also expresses gratitude to those who bought and sold tickets.

The weather was beautiful on the day of the gymkhana and was well supported with great entries. The gymkhana team all worked hard under the leadership of chair and landowner Larry Costello.
