Community gardaí from Kilkenny engaging with Transition Year students
Community gardaí paid a visit to Kilkenny College recently to meet with Transition Year students.
The community engagement event was productive with positive discussion and contributions from the students,
The gardaí from the Community Engagement Unit met with TYs from Kilkenny College where negative consequences from poor choices were discussed.
The students had good questions and got to consider what can go wrong when alcohol and other intoxicants enter the fray.
Gardaí from the Community Engagement Unit regularly hold events at schools across the city and county to promote awareness around relevant issues for young people.
