The Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny and Kilkenny County Council are promoting #ShopKilkenny 2023, an innovative initiative aimed at encouraging everyone to shop local this festive season.
With the holiday season fast approaching, the Shop Kilkenny Christmas campaign is a heartfelt reminder of the importance of supporting our local businesses. By choosing to shop within our communities, we can continue to foster economic growth, sustain livelihoods, and create new job opportunities.
The campaign aims to highlight the abundance of exceptional local produce and unique gift options available to the consumers of Kilkenny. From artisanal crafts to delicious festive treats, our vibrant community offers an array of choices to suit every style and budget.
Speaking about the #ShopKilkenny campaign, Cathaoirleach of Kilkenny County Council, Michael Doyle said, the initiative showcases the true spirit of Kilkenny by championing our local businesses.
“By shopping locally, we not only invest in the growth and prosperity of our community, but we also contribute to the preservation of our unique identity,” he said.
