Fonsie Mealy Auctioneers held their ‘Christmas Rare Books & Collectors' Sale’ on December 12 and 13.
One of the lots on auction was a 1926 All-Ireland Hurling Final programme of Cork v Kilkenny at Croke Park.
It realised a whopping €3,000 on the hammer.
Other items included in the auction included a 1913 Leinster Final Winners Medal which realised €1,000 on the hammer, a 1927 Leinster Hurling Final Programme which realised €750 and a Kilkenny Broadside 1906 Auctioneers poster that realised €150.
