People of Kilkenny urged to take part in walking challenge this February for LauraLynn

LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice is calling on the people of Kilkenny to take part in their 150k Walking Challenge this February 

Whether you’re a daily walker or looking to up your steps as part of your new year’s resolution, there’s something for everyone in this challenge. 

LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice, is calling on people across Kilkenny to join them for their 150K in February Walking Challenge. LauraLynn currently supports 554 families nationwide. This figure also includes bereaved families who avail of supports and attend LauraLynn events and activities. 

Those looking to take part can do so in three easy steps:

Speaking about the 150k challenge Cathy White, Community Fundraising Executive at LauraLynn said: “We are delighted to kick of 2024 with our 150k in February challenge. We are calling on the people across Kilkenny to join thousands of others from all over Ireland who have committed to walking every day while raising vital funds for LauraLynn. It’s a challenge that anyone can do, there’s no time limits and you can clock up your kilometres in a way that works for you.”

By signing up you will receive a special LauraLynn t-shirt to wear on your walks. You will also have the option to join a great community Facebook group giving you motivation along your journey.
