Cois Nore 5K is back again for St Brigid’s Day in Kilkenny

The Cois Nore 5K is back again for St Brigid’s Day. This will be Cois Nore’s third year holding the Cois Nore 5K, taking place on the St Brigid’s Day Bank Holiday, Monday, February 5.

“We are thrilled to be able to hold this event. The Cois Nore 5K has been a great success for the past two years and we are looking forward to it being an even bigger success this year," said Sheila Murphy, Cois Nore Fundraising Coordinator.

"We are especially excited about the route for our 5K, which will see the participants running or walking outside the walls of the park and down along Kilkenny’s beautiful Canal Walk.”

The 5K registration fee for adults is €25 and €15 for under 16s. Entry for the 1K is limited to primary school aged children with a registration fee of €10.  

Register today via coisnore.ie/5k and if you are one of the first 200 entrants you will receive a free Cartoon Saloon designed t-shirt.

Cois Nore depends on fundraising to ensure that their services can continue to be provided free of charge to the people of Kilkenny. The Cois Nore mission is to provide free confidential support and both professional and voluntary services to people of all ages affected by cancer and their families to enable them to live well with their diagnosis.
