Irish TV presenter Lyn Moloney took to the skies last weekend in a special charity skydive over Kilkenny Airfield.
The Callan woman raised more money than she expected for her chosen cause — although she admits the whole thing was a little nerve-wracking.
“It has to have been the most amazing experience ever,” said Lynn.
“Not so much the build up. I couldn't feel my legs for a while before boarding the plane .
It was for Dylan Finglas, a little four-year-old boy who suffers from MSD. He's the only child in Ireland and one of 23 in the world with this .
Unless enough money is raised to develop a treatment, Dylan may not live to see his 10th birthday.
“I have become very attached and close to Dylan and his parents and will continue to do my best to help,” says Lynn.
“They have made me a Patron of their charity SavingDylan.Com to which I am so very proud. I have raised €3,800 in the last month.
