Local gardai have asked all to ensure that they have a safe and happy Halloween this year - and reminding all that unlicensed fireworks are illegal and can carry a €10,000 fine on possession of same - and on intention to sell or supply unlicensed fireworks a possible jail term.
They are also urging the public, and children in particular to attend only family-friendly events this Halloween.
