Christmas shoebox appeal to help the homeless in Kilkenny

People are being asked to donate a shoe box which will consist of: socks, gloves, scarves, hats and anything else that could brighten up a homeless persons Christmas day.

The initiative will cater initially for The Good Shephard centre here in Kilkenny, while the rest of the shoeboxes will be distributed to the Inner City helpin homeless campaign.

Teac Tom on 15 Ormonde Road, will be the drop in centre for the boxes, The Market Cross Shopping Centre and Supermacs will act as drop in points for items that can then be used to make up shoeboxes.
