Results from the www.kilkennypeople.ie online poll showed that 73% of respondents agreed with the question, ‘Are you in favour of a a hard surface tow path to replace the grassy one on the Barrow Way?’ The controversial planning proposal from Waterways Ireland has seemingly been withdrawn as further public meetings and consultations are being planned.
