Three roads in Kilkenny City are to close from tomorrow (Tuesday) until Wednesday evening for works as part of the Central Access Scheme.
Michael Street, Wolfe Tone Street, and Greensbridge Street will all be closed until 10pm on Wednesday night, for final surfacing and lining work. No through traffic will be permitted on these streets.
Vicar Street and St Canice’s Place, which have been closed to vehicular traffic since this morning, are to re-open tomorrow.
Fox Contracts, which is carrying out the work, says the closures will not overlap and disruption will be minimised.
