Tullaroan has received a major boost with the decision of Kilkenny County Council to grant planning permission for a major development on the site of the former Lory Meagher Centre in the village.
Eamon Power successfully applied for a change of use and alterations to two buildings from commercial/museum use to two dwelling units (one apartment for each of the two buildings), and change of use and alterations to one entire building, from commercial/museum building to one detached dwelling,
He also received planning for change of use and alterations to sections of two buildings, from commercial/museum building to five dwelling units (two apartments to a section of one building, and three apartments to a section of another),
He also successfully sought a change of use and alterations to one entire building, from storage shed to one detached dwelling, The four buildings included are protected structures.
