One thousand transition years students from across the city and county have attended a graphic and hard-hitting road safety presentation.
The annual Road Safety Roadshow is organised by An Garda Síochana with the support of Kilkenny County Counciland took place in the Watergate Theatre.
This year secondary schools from across the city and county attended the event along today and yesterday along with participants from the National Learning Centre on Dean Street.
Divisional Traffic Inspector Anthony Farrell revealed the shocking statistic that one out of five people will be involved in a traffic collision within their first year of driving.
