Information session on 2017 Town and Village Renewal Scheme in Kilkenny

County Hall, John Street.

An information session on the 2017 Town and Village Renewal Scheme will take place tomorrow (Thursday) evening in the Springhill Hotel in Kilkenny.

The event is being organised by Kilkenny County Council, and it begins at at 7.15pm.

The Town & Village Renewal Scheme can grant aid up to 80% of the projects costs for project between €20,000 and €100,000. The council will be submitting up to 15 applications to Department for funding.

The first stage of applying for this grant is to submit an expression of interest to Kilkenny County Council by the looming deadline of next Wednesday, May 17.

The purpose of tomorrow’s information session is to give a broad outline of the 2017 scheme and the types of projects that communities might seek to focus on in the context of their Expressions of Interest. All are welcome.
