A wealth of enormous talent was on display at Ormonde College last Thursday evening for the annual end of year show.

Family and friends of students, along with guests, were greeted by a drinks reception and were free to wander around the exhibition of work by students of the Media Studies, Art (Portfolio Preparation), Art with Animation, and Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Fine Art courses.

There was a huge variety of work in a diverse range of disciplines including filmmaking, photography, drawing, painting, animation, printmaking, 3D combined media and digital art.

Accepting applications

Each year, students of Ormonde College are accepted onto a variety of Third Level courses, and this year proves to be no exception. However, for some the college’s Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Fine Art provides the unique opportunity to continue their studies for a second year while remaining in the Carlow/Kilkenny region.

The college is currently accepting applications for all of their courses. Application forms are available from the college, or visit www.ormondecollege.ie to apply online. The college can also be found on Facebook.
