Annual plant sale day in Kilkenny's Rothe House and Gardens

The beautiful gardens of Rothe House.

Rothe House and Gardens on Parliament Street in Kilkenny will once again hold its hugely popular annual plant sale on Saturday, May 27.

Visitors on the day can avail of free admission to the house and its beautifully-kept garden, and chose from a wide range of plants all tended to over the past number of weeks and months by dedicated gardeners Mary Pyke and Alan Murphy.

The annual sale attracts a large number of visitors with all proceeds on the day going towards the upkeep and maintenance of the restored Tudor period garden. If you are an avid, greenfingered gardening enthusiast or simply want to pop in for a wander you are most welcome.

Gardeners will also be on hand to answer any queries you might have. All are welcome to attend on May 27 from 10.30am through to 5pm.
