TransferMate, a market leading business which transfers foreign currency, based in Kilkenny, has been named as the Kilkenny overall winner at the annual Kilkenny Chamber of Commerce awards in Lyrath Hotel.
Almost 600 guests attend a glittering awards ceremony with Mary Kennedy as MC on Saturday night which saw over 20 businesses honoured in a variety of categories.
Other winners on the night were Maureen O Keeffe who won the Hall of Fame award and President Deirdre Shine presented her President award to Mags Kirwan of Goatsbridge Trout Farm in Thomastown.
A great night was had by all as the charity donation, this time to the Kilkenny Home Care team, doubled to over €8000.
