Pets meet Santa
Want to know if your pet dog or cat is on Santa's naughty list. Well the great man is welcoming our furry friends to come and visit him in Kilkenny next week- for not one but two great causes.
Santa's grotto in Nore Valley Park at Cillín Hill will be packed with our four legged friends from 5-7pm on Wednesday 20th December as animal lovers are invited to bring those most loyal family members – their beloved pets – to meet Santa!
Furry festive friends are offered the unique opportunity to visit the genuine Santa, and with a special gift for every pet, he’s sure to set tails wagging!
Families are charged €5 per pet to have a photo with Santa and receive a small gift. No booking is necessary and all proceeds from this one-off event will go to Temple Street Foundation.
The accessible and pet-friendly grotto will accommodate all but the largest household pets; if in any doubt please contact us! All pets must be on leads or in pet carriers.
Located beside Connolly’s Red Mills Store at Cillín Hill in Kilkenny, Nore Valley Park’s usual Christmas Experience runs on weekends throughout December and offers a festive array of activities to keep the whole family entertained. As well as a personal encounter with Santa Claus, mischievous elves process letters to Santa in the North Pole Post Office while Mrs Claus bakes Santa’s favourite biscuits. Plus, with the chance to meet Rudolf and the animals of the nativity, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more immersive Christmas Experience for families in the South-East. Tickets must be booked online at www.norevalleypark.com
