Concerns surrounding parking at a Paulstown housing estate were raised at the last meeting of the Castlecomer Muncipal Area.
Councillor Mary Hilda Kavanagh said that she had received a report from a resident who has difficulties getting in and out of his home because of people parking in front of his property.
“Maybe we should put yellow lines and then the gardaí can prosecute if people are parking there,” she said.
Cllr Maurice Shortall (Labour) said he had grave safety concerns if emergency services needed to access the estate and were prevented to do so by bad parking.
