Over thirty people have been arrested in Kilkenny during Operation Storm.
Over €8,000 worth of drugs have been seized following searches in the city.
There are also numerous checkpoints at locations across the county as part of the three-day garda operation.
Crime prevention officers will be on hand to give advice on how best to prevent crime and are in the Market Cross Shopping Centre and McDonagh Junction Shopping Centre.
Pupils from a number of schools including Clara National School and the De La Salle Primary School were also visited by gardaí as part of the Operation.
