Kilkenny County Council has just announced that all public offices, libraries, civic amenities centres will be closed on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd March.
Also, library branches including the Mobile Library, Local Studies Section will remain closed on Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd of March.
Blizzard-like conditions will develop in heavy snow and strong easterly winds on Thursday evening and will continue Thursday night and Friday morning giving significant snow drifts in many areas
