Inistioge is flooded - Cars can't get through as Kilkenny counts cost of downpours

The last time Inistioge flooded

Inistioge is again under water. The village flooded as the River Nore burst its banks there due to a high tide and torrential  rain upstream.

Cllr Michael Doyle has asked people to avoid the bridge area of the village if at all possible as waters begin to recede. Diversions are in place.
