Gardaí seized cannabis from two suspects at Kilkenny Courthouse earlier this week.
Small quantities of the drugs were seized and have been sent to garda headquarters for analysis.
Both searches took place under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Charges are expected in relation to both matters.
