Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating the theft of a quantity of diesel from a construction site in the city.
On Monday gardaí were alerted that there was 'a verified intruder' at the site on Ballybough Street.
Two males were arrested at the scene. A pump was found close to drums of diesel and a quantity of diesel had been siphoned off.
Gardaí are warning people to be vigilant and to secure vehicles and to park them in a well lit area.
