Lunchtime theatre in Cleeres with a new monologues show from writer Nuala Roche

In the tradition of Bewley’s Lunchtime Theatre (Dublin) and A Pie, A Play and A Pint (Glasgow), Kilkenny audiences can now enjoy Cleeres Lunchtime Theatre, with a new monologues show from writer and poet Nuala Roche.

Following last year’s success of her one-woman show Bridie (longlisted for Stewart Parker and Zebbies Theatre Writing awards), Nuala presents State of Suspension, four pieces from a monologues series for women. This lunchtime presentation comprises 4 stand-alone pieces. Kilkenny actresses Aoibhín Murphy, Rosey Hayes and Janis Woodgate bring significant stage experience and skills to performing three new pieces of writing and one excerpt from Bridie.

There performances will take place this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1.10pm to 1.50pm and an express lunch menu is available. Tickets are available on the door and are €5.
