Gardaí renew appeal following robbery on priest in North Kilkenny

Gardaí in Castlecomer have renewed their appeal to the public for information following a violent robbery in Coon earlier this month.
Investigations are ongoing into the aggravated burglary that took place in the home of Fr John Delaney at The Parochial House in Coon on August 18.
“We are keen to speak to the driver of a cream coloured car which was in the area between 3pm and 5pm and we are also appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity during this period and who might have dash cam footage to come forward,.
“This is a very serious incident where physical violence was used and we are appealing to the public for assistance,” added the garda spokesperson.
