Thomastown Senior Citizens celebrate 40 years
Four decades of friendship will be celebrated when Thomastown Senior Citizens mark the group’s 40th anniversary.
The special occasion will be marked on Sunday, October 14. Celebrations begin with mass at 11am followed by dinner in the Community Centre at 1.30pm. Among those looking forward to the day are two members who have been involved since the beginning and are still active members.
This is a free celebration event open to all seniors in the area. To find out more drop in to the Community Centre shop, Thursday or Friday, 9am to 3pm.
