Emergency services attend the scene of a fire in a Butterslip premises last night
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a fire which broke out in a restaurant in the historic Butterslip in Kilkenny City last night.
The small blaze, understood to be originating from an oven in Butcher restaurant, was quickly brought under control. Customers had to be evacuated, but thankfully, no one was injured.
Gardai and two fire units were quickly on the scene, around 7.30pm.
