Kilkenny is not turning out for presidential election

Could it be lowest turn out ever for major election?

Turnout for the presidential election remains remarkably low in Kilkenny. Voting is less than half that of the last major plebiscite, the abortion referendum.

Castlecomer 7.5%

Ballybought Street (Kilkenny city)

Booth 1 - 13%

Booth 2 - 56 out of 718

Booth 3 - just over 5%

Booth 4 - 10%

Booth 5 - 50 out of 300

Booth 6 - 53 out of 550

St Canice's School (Granges road, Kilkenny)

Booth 1 - 10%

Booth 2 - 16%

booth 3 - 10%
