The most famous chef in Kilkenny and the south east, Edward Hayden
At this time of the year many people are starting to focus on Christmas cookery and the yearly conversation of who is cooking the Christmas lunch. For some it can be a huge challenge with lots of consideration given to menu choices, volume of food required and varying different likes and dislikes of family members of the festive fare. Well this year with a little help from Edward this need not be a challenge.
Join Chef Edward Hayden on Sunday 16th December as he takes his Christmas Cookery Demonstration Tour to the Lyrath Estate Hotel. In this unique demo and dine format Edward and his team from the very popular ‘Edward Hayden School of Cookery’ will demonstrate to you how to effortlessly prepare his quirky adaptation of the traditional Christmas lunch in your own home.
The format of the day will see guests arrive at 10am for morning coffee and scones on arrival and an opportunity to browse through a small number of retailers there with varying festive offerings in terms of food and gifts. The demonstration will begin shortly after 10.30am, during Edward will demonstrate the preparation, cooking and serving of his Christmas 5 course menu . After the demonstration the team from Lyrath will serve up Edward’s full Christmas lunch with all the trimmings for you all to enjoy and then after this guests will retire for some deliciously homemade mince pies with some festive carols. In Edward’s own inimitable style the day will present as fun, elegant and unpredictable!
