Gardaí are appealing to the public to be vigilant after a ‘distraction’ style theft in the city centre.
The injured part left the post office on High Street on Monday at 12.30pm.
Minutes later she was approached by two females on Kieran Street who asked her random questions and stole cash from her.
Gardaí are warning people to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to (056) 7775000.
