The Chamber Choir of Ireland who play in St Canice's Church, Kilkenny on Friday at 7.30pm

Music in Kilkenny in association with Chamber Choir Ireland and their artistic director Paul Hillier will perform the complete motets of Bach together with related works by Brahms, Schütz, and a variety of medieval and contemporary composers on Friday at St Canice's Church on Dean Street, Kilkenny.

The choir looks at what has come after Bach, with a newly commissioned tryptch by David Fennessy, as well as several of Bach’s motets coupled with a trio of 13th-century compositions. The concert takes place at 7.30pm on Friday. Tickets €15 (€10 concession) on sale at the door from 7pm onwards.
