The post mortem examinations on a Kilkenny couple who were found dead at their home earlier this week have been completed.
The examinations on the remains of Michael Hurley (83) and Mary Holohan (79) took place earlier today at Waterford Regional Hospital.
Gardai are continuing to treat the incident as a tragic accident.
Further forensic tests are taking place at the home of the deceased couple at Kilderry on the Johnswell Road to try and establish the cause of their deaths.
