Mrs Kathleen Frawley captured beautifully on the occasion of her 100th birthday by her son Noel
A remarkable Kilkenny woman is celebrating her 100th birthday today. Mrs Kathleen Frawley who is in great health was surrounded by her family yesterday for a pre-birthday party at Archersrath Nursing Home.
She lived for many years on the College Road in the city where she is remembered with great warmth.
She has never lose her great wit and charm and received a letter from President Michael D Higgins congratulating her on reaching 100 years of age.
