Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €8,000 has been seized from a city centre apartment.
The property was searched under warrant last night and a sophisticated growhouse was detected. Lighting and hydrophonic equipment was discovered along with cultivated cannabis herb.
Two foreign nationals were arrested and detained at Kilkenny Garda Station. They were subsequently released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
