Permission sought for change of use of three administrative offices to guest bedrooms

Planning permission is being sought for the creation of three new guest bedrooms at Butler House in Kilkenny City.

Kilkenny Civic Trust has sought the permission for the change of use of three basement-level administrative offices to three ancillary guest bedrooms, with ensuite accommodation, to include decoration and all associated services at the protected structure on Patrick Street.

Acquired by Kilkenny Civic Trust in 1989, Butler House has recently been strengthening its offering to become a destination for events such as weddings.
