One man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of €3,400 worth of cannabis in the city on Wednesday.
A house was searched under warrant and €3,400 worth of cannabis was seized along with other drug paraphernalia.
One male was arrested on Thursday and detained at Kilkenny Garda Station. He was subsequently released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
