Kilkenny Garda Station
A man in his twenties remains in custody at Kilkenny Garda Station where he is being questioned in connection with the murder of a Kilkenny pensioner.
The woman's remains were discovered by gardaí on Wednesday evening.
A post mortem has now being completed. The results are not being released for operational reasons.
