A series of events will take place at MacDonagh Junction to mark International Women's Day (March 8).
The programme kicks off at 10.30am with a welcome talk followed by a peace and wellbeing meditation. At 11am there will be singing and chanting and at midday there will be a poetry reading, where women are invited to read a poem of womanhood, peace, and life in their own language or English.
All are welcome to attend this free event.
