The Design & Craft Council Ireland has highlighted registration for their annual Showcase event in January 2023
The Design & Craft Council Ireland has announced that registration is now open for Showcase 2023. Showcase Ireland returns to the RDS, Dublin from January 22-24, 2023. The event will offer Kilkenny retail buyers an exciting opportunity to explore new products from hundreds of Irish brands across four halls of inspiring ideas with the latest trends across Home & Gift, Fashion and Jewellery categories.
Showcase – Ireland’s Creative Expo is one of the country’s largest international trade shows. Over 4,000 buyers visit the event from across the world, including Ireland, the UK, the USA, Mainland Europe and the Far East, generating sales orders of over €20 million during the show. Showcase is presented on behalf of Design & Crafts Council Ireland, with support from Enterprise Ireland in promoting the trade show internationally through their network of offices overseas and the Local Enterprise Offices nationwide. More than 300 Irish brands are exhibited at the fair, including emerging Irish and Kilkenny businesses supported by their Local Enterprise Offices. Last year the Linen Shirt company from Inistioge and Jerpoint Glass based outside Thomastown showed successfully at the event.
Following on from the success of last year, visitors will also get to see the work that goes into the making of many of the products at the show via the Makers' Studio and Talks Stage and visitors are also encouraged to engage with the programme of events throughout the three day event .
The DCCI encourages buyers to "Discover the very best of Ireland’s emerging brands and established names. Unearth authentic, handmade and sustainable Irish products for your customers. Learn something new at the Showcase 2023 Talks Stage and Makers’ Studio. Meet and connect with industry colleagues and friends old and new."
