Ruby Burke and her stage pal Ciaran O Dwyer in their costumes for the Late Late Toy Show which aired on Friday
Ruby Burke and her stage pal Ciaran O Dwyer both travelled up to Dublin over the last few weeks for rehearsals for the Late Late Toy Show. After all this hard work they both starred in the Wizard of Oz themed opening number of the family show with their stage school Spotlight Ireland on Friday night.
Host Ryan Tubridy, launched the fundraiser during the Toy Show dressed as the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz which was the colourful theme for this year's show.
As usual Toy Show delivered its trademark magic on Friday night, raising just over €3.5 million - and still counting - for its annual charity appeal. As of Saturday evening, the total raised had reached €3,500,370.
Ruby and Ciaran were amongst more than 200 young performers and toy testers who participated in the dazzling show with all the toys in-studio going to charities around the country. Well done to them both.
