Civic Carol Service returns to Saint Canice’s Cathedral in Kilkenny

The annual Civic Carol Service returns to Saint Canice’s Cathedral at 5pm on Sunday, December 18.

The Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, which is open to all, will be lead by the cathedral choir and lessons will be read by the Mayor of Kilkenny and representatives of civic and community life. 

The Dean, Stephen Farrell, said in his first December in Kilkenny he is looking forward to this truly magical beginning to Christmas in the stunning surroundings of the city’s ancient cathedral.
