Coláiste Abhainn Rí was presented with a monument in recognition of Christian Brother Education in Callan since 1868.
The stone was sculpted and erected by Tommy Dermody and Pat Murphy of Molloy’s Funeral Directors and Sculptors. Pictured above are Br Christy Carroll, Westcourt Community, with Mr Leahy, principal Coláiste Abhainn Rí, teacher Ms Griffin and some of the school’s students.
