‘Young Film Stars’, a screening of work showcasing a collaboration between local young people, Amber’s One Million Stars project and the Young Irish Film
The premiere of ‘Young Film Stars’, a screening of work showcasing the unique collaboration between local young people, Amber’s One Million Stars project and the Young Irish Film Makers is happening tomorrow night, Tuesday December, 20 in the Set Theatre.
The screening will showcase the work created by 89 young people in Kilkenny City and County - facilitated by Amber’s One Million Stars project and Young Irish Film Makers - in a series of workshops throughout the year, which sought to empower local youth to produce art in the name of social justice while also learning about staying safe in relationships.
Many of the young people from Grennan College and Ballyhale secondary school, the Drum youth centre and Newpark Close FRC, along with representatives from Amber’s One Million Stars project and YIFM will attend the event. The premiere starts at 7pm at Set Theatre , John Street Kilkenny.
