Madill Property Limited have applied for planning permission to construct 53 housing units at Rath Ullard, Bonnetsrath, Kilkenny.
The housing units planned are a mix of detached, semi-detached and duplex units as well as two apartment buildings (one three-storey and one four-storey).
The ground floor of the three-storey apartment building is planned for retail/restaurant use.
A single-storey facilities management building is also planned, as well as a communal refuse storage pavilion.
Permission to modify the existing roundabout at the entrance of the site is also sought as well as the provision of internal roads and footpaths including associated pedestrian crossing facilities, cycle lanes, surface level car parking, public lighting, landscaping, public open space, boundary treatments and all associated site works.
A decision on the application is due from Kilkenny County Council by April 20, 2023.
