Improvements made to Kilkenny residential area

Assumption Place

Kilkenny County Council have removed illegally dumped rubbish from a Kilkenny City housing estate following dissatisfaction from residents.

The rubbish was removed from the laneway in Assumption Place, while trees in the locality were also trimmed back during the works. 

Local councillor in the area, Eugene McGuinness thanked Kilkenny County Council for completing the works.

Posting on social media, Cllr McGuinness went on to state: "As always I will continue to make representations regarding the remaining issues in Assumption Place / O'Loughlin Road as discussed recently with local residents."
