Porter's, a well-known newsagents on High Street in Kilkenny City, has announced it will close its doors next month after 35 years in business.
A spokesperson for the local newsagents confirmed the news by stating: "We are sorry to announce we are closing down on Saturday, February 3. We would like to thank all our customers who supported us for the past 35 years.
"Call in and say goodbye to the girls before we close," the statement posted to social media read.
It is not yet known what will replace the city centre based business.
