Local auctioneer Fran Grincell was recognised for his contribution to local charity and the wider community at a Mayoral Reception at the Town Hall in Kilkenny City on Monday, April 22.
Many of Grincell's family and friends joined with Mayor Joe Malone and other local dignitaries in honouring 'Franaldo' who has held a number fundraisers in recent years including the annual 'Kickathon' which has raised thousands of euro for Kilkenny charities each year.
