Kilkenny Gardaí forced to take action on Kieran Street

Gardaí in Kilkenny were forced to take action on Kieran Street in the city centre on Thursday afternoon after discovering a motorcycle with no registration plate, no visible tax and other issues.

Posting to social media, a Garda Spokesperson said: "One of our lads came across this Honda Fireblade parked on Kieran Street earlier. The vehicle with no registration plate, no visible tax disc, sellotape on it's screen, missing turn signals and a little oil leak onto the cobbles made it ripe for seizure.

"The owner presented himself but was extremely vague about insurance," the post continued.

"Proceedings to follow," the spokesperson concluded.
