A Kilkenny student contacted local gardaí seeking their help after losing a valuable object in recent days.
The Loreto pupil contacted local gardaí reporting the loss of her hearing aid implant in the environs of Hotel Kilkenny yesterday (Wednesday).
The item is magnetic so could have affixed itself to something ferrous.

"The replacement cost of the device is substantial so we'd be delighted if you could assist us in reuniting it with its owner," a garda spokesperson said.
